Daisy

Daisy is one of the horses that came with 6 other horse from Arizona to retire here in Springville. She had a hard time walking in the heat and was foundered, unable to walk at all, several times. In fact, when she arrived on the transport truck she looked so sick I was afraid she might die! She could only walk a few feet when she arrived and you could tell it was very painful for her. With time, the right medicines, a cooler climate and two adoring geldings who never leave her side, she is now able to run and walk without pain. Daisy is delightful and gives you kisses for carrots! She brings joy to everyone around her and now spends her days basking in the sun around the lake at the sanctuary. She is truly a treasure!
